How to use the bulk bid feature

The bulk bid feature allows you to submit bids for multiple lots or SKUs using a single CSV template. To utilise the feature, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the 'Bulk bid' button and download the Bulk Bid template from the hyperlink.

  2. Enter your unit prices under the Unit Price column. Depending on the sales format, unit prices may be mandatory for all SKUs.

  3. Save your file and upload it.

The file format must remain as a .CSV

  1. Review and select the acknowledgement, then click 'Submit'

Once you have successfully uploaded your bids, they will be displayed in the Bid Activity table. A timestamp indicating the last submission will also be shown (applicable for Tender sales only).

What does this error message mean?

The system has detected unexpected rows in the template, which could be due to either:

  1. Uploading an incorrect template

  2. Including information outside the defined rows

How do I resolve the issue?

You can follow these steps to resolve the problem:

  1. Confirm that you have selected the correct template file

  2. Remove any data that should not be included

  3. Save the updated file and resubmit

Incorrect template uploaded - Unexpected 'Lot X' found

What does this error message mean?

The column headers in the bulk bid template have been either edited or deleted.

How do I resolve the issue?

You can follow these steps to resolve the problem:

  1. Download a new bulk bid template

  2. Copy the unit prices fromthe old file and paste them inot the new template

  3. Save the updated file and resubmit

Partial unit prices detected for Lot X. Please check and try again.

This error message is applicable to Lot Tender and SKU Tender (Bids Mandatory on All Lines) only.

What does this error message mean?

There are some unit prices missing in the lots that you are trying to submit for.

How do I resolve the issue?

You can follow these steps to resolve the problem:

  1. Check if all SKUs within the lot that you are submitting for have corresponding unit prices

  2. Fill in any missing unit prices

  3. Save the updated file and resubmit
